When will I receive my order?
Most J’Aime Elle Couture pieces are created with intention rather than mass-produced. Our standard production and fulfillment timeframe is approximately 6–8 weeks.
Current Pre-Order Schedule: Orders placed during our current pre-order period are reserving a place in our upcoming production schedule. Production is expected to begin in mid-September 2026, with orders shipping on a rolling basis as pieces are completed. Estimated delivery will vary by design, material availability, and level of customization.
This time frame allows for specialty and reclaimed material sourcing, hand construction, finishing, and the individual attention each piece requires. As an active fashion house, our design calendar also includes runway presentations, Fashion Week, editorial projects, and collection development.
We appreciate your patience as we create each piece with the attention it deserves. For time-sensitive orders, please contact us before purchasing to discuss availability.
Why does my piece take several weeks to create?
J’Aime Elle Couture operates as a working fashion house, with pieces developed alongside runway collections, editorial projects, and seasonal presentations. Many designs are made to order or produced in very limited quantities, with materials sourced specifically for each creation.
Our process prioritizes craftsmanship over speed and individuality over mass production.
Will my piece look exactly like the one pictured?
Not always—and that is part of what makes J’Aime Elle Couture special.
Many of our designs incorporate reclaimed, upcycled, overstock, and limited-availability textiles. Variations in denim wash, texture, grain, color, hardware, or material placement may naturally occur.
Your piece will remain true to the original design language while possessing its own individual character. No two reclaimed pieces are intended to be identical.
What if the material or color pictured is no longer available?
Certain specialty textiles are sourced through reclaimed and overstock channels, meaning availability can change.
When a design allows for alternate materials or colors, you may submit your preferences when ordering. We will make every effort to source something within your requested palette. If your preferred option is unavailable, we may contact you with thoughtfully selected alternatives before production begins.
Occasionally, a piece may become temporarily unavailable until an appropriate material can be sourced.
How do I know which denim size to order?
For most Heritage and reconstructed denim pieces, we recommend beginning with the jean size you typically wear in non-stretch jeans. You can also use our fit guide to take accurate measurements.
Because much of our work is created from reclaimed rigid denim rather than stretch denim, fit can differ from the stretch jeans you may be accustomed to wearing. Please review the individual product's fit notes before ordering.
What if my waist and hip measurements fall into different sizes?
If your waist and hip measurements fall into different size categories, we recommend using our fit guide and selecting your size based on your hip measurement and providing both your waist and hip measurements with your order.
This is particularly important for clients accustomed to stretch denim or those who require additional room through the hip and seat. Because many J’Aime Elle Couture designs are constructed from rigid denim, these measurements allow us to evaluate the proportions before production and determine whether a fit adjustment is recommended.
If you're unsure, contact us before ordering. We would much rather review your measurements first than guess at your fit.
Do you offer custom sizing or fit adjustments?
Select J’Aime Elle Couture designs offer fit customization, which will be noted on the individual product page. Depending on the design, adjustments may include rise selection, proportion considerations, or additional room through specific areas.
Because our pieces are reconstructed individually, extended sizing or adjustments requiring additional materials or construction may carry an additional cost. If applicable, this will always be discussed before production.
Do you recreate or customize designs from other brands?
No. J’Aime Elle Couture does not recreate, duplicate, or reinterpret designs based on external references, retailer products, or third-party garments.
We are a designer-led fashion house, and our focus is creating and evolving original J’Aime Elle Couture designs.
Limited customization is available on select pieces within our collections—such as fit, color, material, or embellishment choices—and will be clearly noted on the product page.
Can I customize a J’Aime Elle Couture piece?
Select pieces offer curated customization while remaining true to the original design.
Depending on the garment, options may include color preferences, fit adjustments, hardware, chains, pearls, rhinestones, or other embellishments. Available options are listed on the individual product page.
Requests outside the listed options may be considered at the designer's discretion and may require a separate quote.
How are embellishments priced?
All embellishments are individually hand placed, and pricing reflects both material sourcing and the craftsmanship required for application.
Any additional cost outside the options selected at checkout will be confirmed before work begins.
Do you offer bundle or set pricing?
Yes. Select pieces may qualify for private bundle pricing when purchased as a complete look or curated pairing.
Rather than publicly discounting individual designs, we offer bundle pricing by request. Contact us with the pieces you're interested in, and we can provide a personalized quote and invoice based on your selections and availability.
Do you offer styling services?
Yes. Visit our Style Suite to pair your pieces with any J'aIme Elle Couture piece. We also offer private styling and look curation are available on a limited, by-request basis.
Styling may include incorporating J’Aime Elle Couture into a larger look, pairing our designs with pieces already in your wardrobe, or developing a complete look that does not exclusively feature J’Aime Elle Couture.

Can you help me choose pieces that work together?
Absolutely. If you're interested in creating a complete J’Aime Elle Couture look or aren't sure which pieces complement one another, visit our Style Suite for look curation and pairing assistance.
If multiple pieces are selected, private bundle pricing may also be available.
Can I request a particular color for a reclaimed-material piece?
Yes. Share your desired color or color family, and we will explore what is currently available through our reclaimed and overstock sourcing channels. Because these materials are intentionally limited, a specific shade cannot always be guaranteed.
The unpredictability of sourcing is part of what keeps these pieces rare, sustainable, and uniquely yours.
What does “one of one” mean at J’Aime Elle Couture?
A one-of-one piece is individually created from materials whose characteristics cannot be precisely duplicated.
The silhouette, wash, textile placement, texture, detailing, or embellishment may vary based on the materials available during construction. Even when the same design is recreated, your version possesses its own identity.
Why do some sizes or silhouettes have different pricing?
Reconstructed fashion doesn't always require the same amount of material or labor from one size or silhouette to another.
Certain sizes, fuller silhouettes, palazzo constructions, or specialized fit adjustments may require additional reclaimed garments, fabric, reconstruction, or production time. When this occurs, an additional charge may apply.
Any applicable pricing will be communicated clearly before production.
Do you offer designer embellishment upgrades on the Heirloom Tie?
Select Heirloom Ties may be requested with an optional designer-symbol pin embellishment. Available selections are shown on the product form and are subject to sourcing availability.
When selected, a separate $35 invoice will be issued for the pin application. Production of the upgrade will proceed once the additional invoice has been completed.
How can I contact J’Aime Elle Couture about my order or a special request?

For fit questions, we recommend using our fit guide to get your waist measurement, hip measurement to include with the name of the piece you're considering so we can assist you more efficiently.
Do you accept press, collaboration, or creative inquiries?
Yes. J’Aime Elle Couture welcomes inquiries regarding press, editorial opportunities, fashion events, select collaborations, and creative partnerships.
